C.C. [pronounced C-2] (caged_graywitch) is from the anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Her character design is the awesome work of CLAMP. Her storyline belongs to Ichiro Okouchi.

C.C. is played by Reizna (xsafiaprincess).

Personality & Apperance

C.C. comes across as a mysterious and detached person. When she speaks, she tends to use ambiguous wording and causes everyone else to wonder. C.C. also appears to do whatever she wants, even though it can be an inconvenience to the people around her. According to Lelouch, she is selfish, lazy, stuck-up and never lifts a finger. C.C. is shameless when it comes to her body; sometimes, she uses this to her advantage to get what she wants. However, she is reliable depending on the situation, donning the mask of a capable leader. There are times where she is capable of feeling emotions like love, dislike and those types of things.

Main canon (spoiler free)

C.C. was born a slave during the Late Middle Ages. She doesn’t remember her parents. The only figure she was close to calling mother was the nun who gave her the power of Geass. C.C. was only ten at the time when the power manifested itself. C.C.’s geass caused everyone to love her without limits. The nun was the only one unaffected by it; because of this, the nun was always scolding C.C. for using it so carelessly. When she was sixteen, the Geass had evolved and covered both her eyes. The nun killed herself and C.C. in an attempt to get rid of the Code of Immortality. As a result, C.C. received the Code, rendering her unable to truly end her immortal life, lost her own Geass, and gained the power to grant people Geass and also immunity to any Geass power used against her. She lived through Washington’s Rebellion, the Witch Trials (where she was burned) and the World Wars. During those time, she experienced many brutal ways to die, but always painfully returned back to life. She had made several contracts with people, but they were unable to grant her wish. One of those contractors was Marianne vi Britannia (née Lamperouge), Lelouch’s mother. However, Marianne had died before the terms of the contract were fulfilled. She began to look for another contractor while quietly watching over Marianne’s children (Lelouch and Nunnally) when they were exiled to Japan. When Japan fell and renamed Area 11, she remained out of the limelight until she was caught by the Britannian Military, who attempted to experiment on her. The experiment was called Code R.

Seven years after the fall of Japan, C.C. was locked into a high-pressure capsule, which was then stolen by a resistance group, which believed was poison gas. When the resistance group was scattered in the underground, two people were present when her capsule opened. The two were Suzaku Kururugi and Lelouch Lamperouge, two friends she watched from a distance in the past. After saving Lelouch from a near-death experience by jumping in front of him when a gun was fired, she gave him the power of Geass. His power was absolute obedience. Lelouch took on the identity Zero and created the Black Knights to tackle the Empire of Britannia. She has stuck with him, often intervening at times where there is a chance of Lelouch dying. When the final battle occurs and his sister Nunnally is kidnapped, she buys him time to search for his sister, leading to her death when she crashed into the ocean where the water pressure kills her. Eventually her body resurfaces and she jumps back into life.

A year passed where Lelouch lived a normal life. C.C. appeared during the chaos at one of Lelouch’s gambling ventures and returned his memories of his power and being Zero. She did this, knowing full well that Lelouch was the bait to lure her out into the open. While Lelouch takes on the mask of Zero, C.C. becomes his “double” once more. She became one of the few who remain at his side after his brother, Schneizel el Britannia, reveals to the Black Knights Zero’s identity and his ties to Britannia as a former prince. C.C. is also present in the world of C, where Lelouch faced off with his father, the Emperor of Britannia and the spirit of his mother, Marianne, and also when he assumed the throne of Britannia. She wasn't present when Zero Requiem occured, but she was deeply involved in the plan.

Head canon (+ explanation of her powers)

  • Her real name is Ceceniah; the only people who know about it are Lelouch and due to the handcuff event, Kaito/Kaitou Kid
  • Her age is roughly 618 (if you count her 'immortal' life); but she looks about 18-20ish and doesn't seem to age physically
  • She "forgot" what day she was born and appointed Feburary 14 as her "birthday".
  • The Code (red crane which shows up on her forehead sometimes) grants her immortality and the ability to heal from almost any sort of injury; it also allows her to grant the Power of the King (Geass) and gives her immunity to Geass powers. Her powers also make her a slight telepath. She can send shock images and somewhat read minds/memories with direct contact. However, indirect contact also works, but rarely.
  • She can occasionally converse with people who have moved on into a spiritual plane called C's World. I believe she can also converse "telepathically" with people she will grant or has granted a Geass to. The catch is, C.C. has to be touching the said person.

People She's Met/Spoken to

  • Alice: Roommate. Nothing yet. Finds one thing in common: bitches man servants. Although to C.C., Lelouch isn't really a man servant. Well, sometimes.
  • Linali: C.C. finds her nice. No opinion yet.
  • Kaito Kuroba: Loves calling her "See-See". He knows her true name because of the handcuff event. Not exactly buddies, but on that scale somehow.
  • Atem: Offered him some help when he accounced that it was war between him and Frau after an incident. Interested in the Power of the King (Geass). Knows about her immortality.
  • Harley Quinn: Butted heads over voice comments. Harley is determined to get C.C. to laugh somehow.
  • Risa Harada: Met during the July Storm. Thinks she's a bit childish, but reminds her of Nunnally.
  • Frau: Met during his depression stage. Calls her "Sinus". She has his shirt. They've gotten into trouble before.
  • Labrador: A friend of Frau's. A bishop who didn't judge her or condemn her as a witch. She told most of her story to him, which is odd since she rarely reveals her past to anyone. Forgave her when she got Frau in trouble.
  • Undertaker: A person for her to talk with about death. Nothing much to say about him, except he's a little creepy and it doesn't really bother her.
  • Akako: C.C. is suspicious of her power since the Potions lab incident. no opinion yet.
  • Dartz: Senses something about him, but no opinion yet.
  • Eisuke: He is completely normal. No threat at all.
  • Castor: A friend of Labrador's. Yet another bishop. Hasn't formed much of an opinion yet.
  • Rolo: Canonmate. Sees her as a rival. They keep their distance from each other. His Geass doesn't affect her. She can't help but see him as another one of Lelouch's chess pieces.
  • Kazuki: finds it interesting how she can multitask with sewing and eating pizza. Hasn't spoken him enough to have a real opinion.
  • Tsukuyomi: new roommate. first calls her "alien onee-chan" or just "onee-chan". no opinion yet.

Game Canon

  • Lands in House Rho Dorm Room #105; roommate Alice
  • First thing she asks is "where is the pizza?"
  • Explores the carnival, looking for the pizza; doesn't find any
  • Found by Undertaker when she was talking to herself under the tree. They have a conversation about death. He can tell that there's something odd about her. They establish that she wouldn't need him for whatever reason.
  • Atem wants to wage war on Frau, who C.C. hasn't met yet. She offered her help to Atem, but warns him about her criticism about ridiculous plans. That is when Atem said that he never makes ridiculous plans, which triggers a memory of someone in C.C.'s mind
  • She encounters Harley Quinn, noting her as one of the new people dropping in. They butt heads.
  • Meets Risa during July's storm. C.C. isn't scared because of the storm. Plays with Runt while almost teasing the Magician Boy (who she doesn't know is Kaito yet). She asks him if he likes Risa. He dodges the question, but she threatens to read his mind via the Code.
  • After a discussion, Atem is a little too interested with Geass.
  • She meets Frau in his depression stage after Labrador shows up. C.C. doesn't necessarily try to cheer him up, but ends up hugging him after the Code causes them to see each other's memories. They talk a bit. When she decides to leave him alone, she ends up jumping from the rooftop. She gets a sprained ankle, but she knows it'll heal quickly.
  • C.C. and Kaito meet again in the Gymnastics Room. They're both showing off their skills on the balance beam, but C.C. brings up the Risa question, causing Kaito to fall and hurt himself on the padded floor. C.C. says she'd drop the subject if Kaito gets her pizza. In the end, C.C. leaves and comes back with pizza, just in time to see Harley push Kaito into the pool of blue foam pieces.
  • Her ankle heals. She has to choose her classes. (See bottom of the page)
  • She and Frau meet on the Math/Science rooftop. She ends up leaving the rooftop with his black tank top. And they meet up in the pool area. Ehh...stuff happens, but then somehow, C.C. gets Frau into Bishop Mode and then back to teasing him in less than five minutes. Labrador shows up and gets mad at Frau, apologizes for Frau's behavior before leaving with Frau wrapped up in a vine cocoon.
  • C.C. decides to kill time in the library and reads a Greek play which triggers memories. She meets Atem in person in the library. They don't have much to say to each other, but she holds up her offer to help him with his plans against Frau. Oh, the irony of it all.
  • C.C. loses her sight during the Senseless Virus.
  • The Japanese festival of Tanabata comes and goes. She's by herself, but wondering about wishes. Days after, she starts having a single recurring dream.
  • Frau and Kaito hit the campus with their prank. C.C. finds herself with orange and black stripes and a tail. She's not happy at all; she manages to get Kaito to say Frau did it. She's debating on waiting a bit before taking revenge, but the laziness factor takes over.
  • The reccuring dream came back. C.C. still doesn't know what it means. Labrador came over and gave her some tea to calm her down.
  • During the clothing swap virus, she ended up with Kaito's clothes. Watching him get out of her straight jacket was priceless. She saw the suit and monocle with his stuff. She was also in the cafeteria prior to Castor's plan to humilate Frau, and of course, she was a bit of a distraction.
  • Halloween plans. She decides on her costume and starts working on it until the Handcuff Event hits. She's stuck with Katiou Kid, who reminds her of someone. (Hmmm, I wonder who could it be behind that monocle.) She later shares her real name while Kid shares his true identity so they can get the handcuffs off.
  • Rolo appears at Moksa, landing in the Forest - where C.C. finds him. They exchange a few words. He still hates that she stands in his way to Lelouch. The same day Rolo shows up, C.C.'s at the Quad, finishing up her costume. There she meets Kazuki and Tsukuyomi.
  • Halloween. Tsukuyomi attempts to drag her to the Cloak Tower, but C.C. is ditched when the young swordswoman finds Oogie Boogie's henchmen. The witch then sees Mao as a ghost, floating around the Field.
  • She ditched physicals. Her punishment wasn't as entertaining as Frau's, but her pizza box kept slipping away from her reach.
