Head canon (stuff I made up)

He has a slight Osakan accent, due to his living there for a few years, but you only notice it if he's upset, angry, talking to someone with the same accent, or possibly drunk. Bilingual, in Japanese and American English. Wears two sets of corrective lenses (both contacts and glasses) all the time, without one or the other, he is legally blind (though he has better vision with just his glasses than with just his contacts). Likes clothes shopping, although it is difficult for him to find clothes that he likes. Because of his feminine apperance, he has been mistaken for a girl more than once when he was younger, and was sexually harassed (if not outright molested) at some point in his life (thus, the homophobia).
