Mana

Page history last edited by Marina 6 mos ago

Mana (spazzysorceress) is from Kazuki Takashi's manga/series Yuugiou. Mana is played by Amiasha.

Mana is a young sorceress from Ancient Egypt, who later becomes a priestess. She is, for the most part, very cheerful, friendly, and easy to get along with. She's not the type to start fights or even say anything mean to someone; she'd much rather everyone got along, but she's willing to stand up to someone if she has to.

She's a bit ditzy and tends to do a lot of slacking off. For this reason, though she's clearly talented at magic she's unable to do a lot of her spells correctly. They tend to backfire, not work at all, or have something else strange occur, like the time she accidentally inflated a fish that flew around like a balloon and hit her in the face.

She's very dedicated to the people she cares about, and usually the only time she's serious is when she needs to help them.

Official canon

Not a whole lot is known about Mana, but she grew up in the palace. She was the student of the spirit sorcerer/priest Mahaado, and spent a lot of time learning magic. It can be assumed she was either brought to the palace due to her talent for magic, or that she was the daughter of some noble or other high-ranking person, due to the fact that she was very close to the prince/Pharaoh and the priests-in-training/priests.

Mana assisted in the battle with Zork mostly by using her kaa, the Black Magician Girl. She survived the battle with Zork as one of the only two members of the court to do so (Seth being the other), and later became a priestess while Seth was Pharaoh.

Head canon (stuff I made up)

Mana is taken from a few years after Seth takes over as Pharaoh, so she is around sixteen. She has been a priestess during that time, but her promotion in rank hasn't done a lot to help her settle down and be responsible; she's still a total spazz and airhead, and the other new priests have to do most of the work.

There are times when she's very sad and misses the old court, but she doesn't let it keep her down for long. She's very happy to be at Moksa, though she hopes the other priests and Seth are doing okay without her (and they are, in fact they are probably finding a lot less things are ending up broken.)
